Venue

All championship activities take place at and around Ban Josip Jelačić Square in the centre of Zagreb.

Welcome Centre – Ban Josip Jelačić Square
Start Area – Ban Josip Jelačić Square, in front of the Ban Josip Jelačić monument
Call Room – Ban Josip Jelačić Square
Warm up area – A warm-up area will be available close to the start of the event, for example on the adjacent Zrinjevac Square.
Changing rooms – tents in the Kurelčeva Street
Secure Bag Drop – Kurelčeva Street
Medal ceremonies – main stage, Ban Josip Jelačić Square

Toilets:

Individual and team medalists must report to the designated medalist assembly area (Call Room area) no later than 15 minutes prior to the medal ceremony for their respective category. A preliminary schedule for the WMA Marathon Championship medal ceremonies has been published on the Championship website. Athletes must wear their national team kit for the medal ceremony. Flags and other props are not permitted during the ceremony itself, but athletes may use them in the designated photo area next to the podium immediately following the awards presentation for each category.
